ISEQ buoyant

The ISEQ- index of Irish shares was buoyant this morning climbing 65.05 at 9417.48 despite a mixed bag of events for some of its bigger traders.

Irish Life and Permanent got of to a flying start to the day jumping 31c at 21.06 while Anglo Irish Bank also climbed, gaining 10c at €16.15.

There was no change for Bank of Ireland at €17.45 while AIB lagged behind dropping 2c at €22.53.

Elsewhere building materials group CRH shot up 35c at €31.15 to maintain its status as one of the market's best performing shares.

Ryanair also experienced a shot in the arm jumping 20c to €11.20 this morning.
